Product Overview:
GN-1898 is the latest MPEG-2/MPGE-4 AVC high efficiency SD encoder which can perform SD MPEG-2/MPEG-4 AVC compression encoding of up to eight channels of analogue or digital A/V input signals simultaneously, and then output the signals through IP interface after multiplexing. This unit can be used for A/V signal source encoding of a DTV network head-end system, and it also supports WEB/SNMP management.
Main Features:
• Up to eight channels of MPEG-2/MPEG-4 AVC SD encoding in 1RU;
• MPEG-1 Layer II or AAC(license option) audio encoding;
• Up to eight channels of analog composite video and unbalanced
audio pairs inputs or digital SDI video with embedded stereo audio
inputs;
• High picture quality in ultra low bit rate to reduce network
overheads or costs;
• Web browser GUI and SNMP interface for remote management and
control;
• IP output
• MPEG TS-over-IP(7 x 188 Byte) output, supporting MPTS/SPTS mode
• Supports DVB-ASI input and IP output
• MPEG-2 encoding rate range from 0.5 to 5.5Mbps each video
• MPEG-4 AVC encoding rate range from 0.25Mbps to 5.5Mbps each video
• Supports multiple PAL and NTSC standard definition video encoding
resolutions

• Supports simple TS multiplex with auto-generated PSI/SI
